How to configure Vetstage tempus to work with Vetstoria

This Article will guide you through the process of how to configure Vetstage Tempus to work with Vetstoria Online Appointments.

1.  Activate interface

How to enable the interface in VETERA.net after registering with VetStage:

Navigate under "Extras > Settings > Appointment > Appointment settings" to the tab "Interfaces" tab and check the "Active" box in the VetStage personnel management box.



Now enter your VetStage access data for the personnel administration

If these are correct and you can establish a connection to the server, please check with the "Test connection" button.



If the connection was successful, please click the "Set up service" button.


In the following dialog window you can now set the update interval (how often should the data be compared in VETERA.net with the VetStage server?), the duration (how many days in the future should the data be send into the future?) and the start in the past (how many days into the past?). 

Then click on "Add".



Now you can activate the task via "Start" and leave the dialog box with "OK".



Please restart VETERA.net now, so that the changes show effect.



2. Deposit Vetstage personnel number

Now please navigate under "Extras > Administration" to the "User administration"



If you have restarted VETERA.net, you will now see a new field "VetStage Personnel No.". 

Here you enter the personnel number that you have assigned to the user in VetStage. This can, but does not have to 

differ from the VETERA.net internal personnel number.


In addition, a new column appears in the user list in which you can view the stored numbers. 

After entering the numbers, please save and restart VETERA.net.





3. View in the appointment calendar

Now, depending on the refresh interval you have specified under "Set up service" the color scheme of your VETERA.net calendar will be updated according to the colors and times you have specified in the VetStage personnel management. 

A legend of the colors can be found in the lower right corner under "VetStage legend"




4. Activate columns for online booking 

1. Please go to "Terminkalender" in your Vetera settings and tick the two marked checkboxes



2. Please right Click on the Vetstage Legend.

You can then choose the specific collumns you would like to activate for Online Booking.

Save the changes. 


IMPORTANT: 


The practice's IT department must now restart the service in the Vetstoria interface in Vetera so that Vetstoria synchronises correctly. 



Trouble-Shooting:

  • If you are not able to connect to the VetStage server, please check your access data and test whether you can access the homepage of your VetStage personnel administration. If everything is correct, please check the access gain after restarting VETERA.net.


  • If you are not able to start the VetStage task (start service), it may be due to authorization problems. Please clarify with your system administrator that VETERA.net is provided with sufficient rights for the setup.


  • The VetStage personnel no. does not appear? Please restart VETERA.net once.


  • The colors are not transferred to VETERA.net despite input on the homepage? Please note: the time interval, which is set to 15 minutes by default. Enter the interface this time to apply the changes. If this time interval is too long, you can reduce the interval and restart the service (Exit and then start). Please set it back to 15 minutes afterwards in order not to affect the performance of the interface.
