This article will walk you through the process of creating a client and patient record in ezyVet which will be used when scheduling an unmatched appointment.
1. Log in to your ezyVet and click the "Contacts" tab at the top to open the New Contact window.
2. Enter the relevant client information, such as Contact Type as 'Individual' and Personal Details such as First Name (Unmatched), Last Name (Client), Contact Notes and any other required information (use dummy info as it's not used by Vetstoria). Then, in the upper left corner, click the "Save" button.
Click on Save when the below details have been entered
3. Once the client file is created, right-click on the client record tab and click on the 'Copy Link' option to obtain the client record URL and save it on a notepad, as shown in the image below.
4. In order to create a new patient, Select the "Animals" tab. Then, search for the owner (enter the client code) and enter the patient details such as Animal name (Unmatched Pet), Animal Notes (make sure to untick "Notes Important") and any other required information. Then, in the upper left corner, click the "Save" button.
Please make sure to not tick the "Notes Important" checkbox for the animal as it creates an alert on the appoitment itself that could cause confusion.
5. Once the patient file is created, right-click on the animal record tab and click on the 'Copy Link' option to obtain the Patient record URL and save that to the same notepad as the Contact URL.
6. Please send an email to support@vetstoria.com with the Client Record URL and Patient Record URL from your notepad for your unmatched appointments to be mapped correctly.
