Configuring ezyVet Planning Guides

This article will walk you through the use of planning guides when it comes to using ezyVet with Vetstoria.

Planning Guide View:

The planning guide is a unique feature on ezyVet which allows you to divide your schedules into usable sections to book appointments. For example:

Based on the screenshot below, we can see that the schedule of Dr Seth Rogan’s schedule has been divided into three sections which indicate what type of appointments should fall here: 

11:00 am - 01:30 pm should only have Consultation appointments.

01:30 pm - 04:00 pm should only have Dental Cleaning appointments.

04:00 pm - 06:30 pm should only have Grooming appointments. 

Vetstoria account planning guide requirements:

1. Enable the appointment type

2. Assign the appointment type to a ‘PMS’ Name

3. Availability will be queried for the selected appointment type (or planning guide) selected in the PMS Name.

Please note that all appointment types in Vetstoria must be mapped to a PMS Appointment Type. This way Vetstoria can read the planning guides and know what appointment type to look for. 

If the appointment type is not assigned to the ‘PMS Name', an error message will be displayed on the booking tool stating “You have selected an invalid appointment type” as shown below:

To resolve this, ensure that the Vetstoria appointment type is mapped to an ezyVet Appointment Type.
