How to refund a payment

The easiest way to get a payment refunded is by simply logging in to Stripe, finding the transaction, and choosing to refund this client.

Configuring a refund policy for payments


A new system message is now available in the system messages section to configure a ‘Refund policy’


Login as a clinic user, browse to Settings → System messages and scroll down until you find ‘Refund policy’. The refund policy system message can contain the clinic branch telephone_number as merge field.



This new system message can be used by the clinics to educate the pet owners who schedule an appointment for a ‘Full payment required’ appointment type.
