Q. Who is Global Pay?


A.  Global Pay is a means for companies and merchants across the world to send and receive payments in different currencies. For more information, visit company.globalpayments.com 


Q. How long does it take to set up Global Pay?


A. The setup takes approximately 2 weeks


Q. How do I set up Global Pay with Vetstoria? 


A.  The below shows the basis process of setting up Global Pay


Step 1 - The Vetstoria sales team gets in touch with your clinic to check if you are interested in payments.


Step 2 -  They will then get your clinic in touch with a representative from Global Pay.


Step 3- Your clinic will need to go through a screening process with Global Pay. This will roughly take around 2 weeks for your clinic to be onboarded.


Step 4 - Once this is completed, Global Pay will share credentials with Vetstoria to connect to your Global Pay account.


Note: Your clinic does not have to do anything when setting up.. They will only need to attend the screening process initiated by Global Pay.


Q. Can anyone use Global Pay? Are there any prerequisites? 


 A. Global Pay is only available for UK clinics at the moment.


Q. What are the transaction fees when using Global Pay?


A. This will depend on the screening process with Global Pay.


Q. How does it work with multiple clinic branches?


A. This would depend on the requirement of your clinic. You choose to have either one or multiple IDs for your branches, please get in touch with your Vetstoria representative with regards to your request.


Q. How does Global Pay process refunds?


A. Refunds can be handled by your clinic once you are given access to the Payments Admin Dashboard.

Q. Who do I reach out to for online payment issues with Vetstoria?

Q. What is the reconciliation process?


A. With Gross Settlement, when you swipe a card for £100, Global Pay pays you the full £100 after the transaction clears. You will then need to settle any fees with Global Pay by the end of the month.


Q. Will the amount show in the PIMS?


A.  The payment will be visible on the PIMS note on your calendar if the payments option is enabled on Vetstoria. 


Q. Does GlobalPay send confirmation emails to clinics?


A. Global Pay issues invoices at the start of each month, containing comprehensive details of card processing activities for the previous month.


Q. How do I cancel the agreement with Global Pay?


A. Please reach out to your Global Pay representative


Q. When are payments released to clinics?


A. Payments are released in real-time.


Q. How do I know if a payment is made using GlobalPay or another payment vendor when using Vetstoria?


A. Multiple payment providers cannot be used at the same time with Vetstoria.
