How do I set up a custom duration for my appointment types?

This article will walk you through the process of configuring custom duration for your Appointment Types

Please note that if you wish to have this feature enabled, you will have to first contact Vetstoria Support.

Once this feature is enabled for you, the system will display a new tab under your appointment settings called "Custom Duration"

Clicking on this tab will direct you to a screen, where you will be able to create rules for the duration of your appointment types. To get started, click on "+Add a New Rule"

  1. Name: Give a meaningful name to your rule. A good example would be "Appointment types for Dr Harry".
  2. Appointment types: Select the appointment types which would be applicable for this rule.
  3. Clinicians: Select the clinicians which are applicable.
  4. Duration: Specify the duration which you would like to apply for these appointment types.
  5. Active: Enable or Disable the rule using this toggle button.

 This feature cannot be set up if you are using a setup where your diaries/calendars are shared between vets or if you have not selected the  "individual clinician" slot display option in your Advanced settings.
