Introduction of User Roles for clinics and vet groups

Modified on Tue, 08 Aug 2023 at 05:28 PM

What are User Roles?

“User Roles” can be implemented to give you more control over your Vetstoria platform when issuing access to your team members. For instance, you may want to have certain members of your team to access and view appointment information, obtain the payment transaction reports to reconcile at the end of the day, or for viewing the analytics. These users therefore don't need access to all the settings, or even disabling the tool altogether. This is why we introduced two new 'User Roles.

  • The “Admin” role will let you retain full control and authority over the account settings, (as it is now).
  • The “Viewer” role will allow users to view essential information without the ability to modify or interfere with critical settings.

Implementing these roles ensures that the right people, can perform the right things, whilst still effectively safeguarding your important Vetstoria configurations.

Explaining User Accounts

There are two types of user account

1. A Clinic user, who has access direct to the clinic platform.

2. A Vet Group user, who has access to a group of clinic platforms.
