How to Include payment details in the PMS note

The clinic user is now able to capture the payment details for an appointment made via Vetstoria in the PMS note.


The following merge fields are now available to be included in the PMS note


{{payment_type}} and {{captured_amount}}



{{payment_type}} will capture one of the following depending on what is configured per appointment type


  1. Full payment mandatory
  2. Pre-authorization mandatory
  3. Pre-authorization optional
  4. No payment required


{{captured_amount}} will contain the amount paid / pre-authorized by the pet owner while in the booking flow and confirming the appointment


If the appointment type has pre-authorization as optional and the pet owner has not pre-authorized the amount at the time of appointment creation, then the {{captured_amount}}  merge field will contain 0.00
