How does booking referral appointments work?

Modified on Thu, 27 Mar at 11:23 AM

This article will walk you through how referral appointments work.

How do 'referral' notifications work, who gets them, and when?

1. Select either "I'm a Vet" or "I'm a Pet Owner."

2. Right after providing all the pet owner information and going through the booking journey, you will be asked to provide the referral's information.

3. Two things happen once you complete the booking journey and book the appointment.

1. An appointment confirmation email goes to the pet owner.

2. The referred vet also receives an email confirming the appointment with the pet owner.

When an appointment is booked through the Vetstoria booking tool, whether by a pet parent or a vet from your clinic, the referring vet will automatically receive an email with the booking details.

These emails include fully editable templates for appointment confirmation, rescheduling, and cancellations, ensuring seamless communication throughout the referral process.
