Accessing the editable email templates

To access you email templates, follow the below steps

1. Head on over to settings

2. Click on 'Email Template'

3.  You can either select the 'Pet Owner' email template section or the 'Referring Vet' Section.

Pet Owner templates - These emails gets sent to the pet owner via your Vetstoria booking tool when a booking is made. This includes editable email templates for appointment confirmation, appointment reschedule, appointment cancellation and appointment reminders.

Referring Vet templates - These emails gets sent to your referred vet via your Vetstoria booking tool when a booking is made on behalf of a pet owner by a vet from your clinic. The email also indicates that it is a referral appointment booking. This includes editable email templates for appointment confirmation, appointment reschedule and appointment cancellation.

How does the 'referring vet' templates work?

1. Choose 'I'm a vet'

2. Right after providing all the pet owner information and going through the booking journey, you will be asked to provide the referral's information.

3. Two things happens once you complete the booking journey and book the appointment.

1. An appointment confirmation email goes to the pet owner.

2. The referred vet also receives an email confirming the appointment with the pet owner.

Editing the email templates

Editing the email templates is an easy process, all you need to do is add the required field within double curly brackets into the email template.

For example if you want to add the appointment type to the email below, you will need to open curly brackets and copy paste the required field from the column on the right side, and close double curly brackets.

Once you add the filed into the curly brackets, the field on the right side column should turn green.

*You can use the same method to edit the Referring Vet templates.

Make sure you scroll to the bottom and click on 'save changes'.
