How do I get access to my router’s web portal?

Modified on Sun, 21 Aug 2022 at 07:55 PM

To do this all you have to do is open a “Windows PowerShell” or  “Command prompt” on a Windows PC (ensure the PC is connected to the router), this can be done by:

  • Right-clicking on the Windows Start icon and selecting either "Windows PowerShell" or "Command prompt":

  • Once opened, type in “ipconfig” and take note of the “Default Gateway” IP.

  • Enter the “Default Gateway” IP address on your browser and you should be taken to your Router’s Web Portal.

  • From here, we would require your account username and password. On some router models, it only asks for the password.

Note: The default username and/or password is usually found at the back of the router. If you do not find the username and/or password, please refer to your router’s user manual or contact your ISP for assistance.
