Vetstoria requires specific information in order to establish connectivity with your RxWorks system. This article will walk you through the process of obtaining this information and sending it across to us.

  1. Navigate to Options & Setup > J (Clinic) > API Configuration for External Access > click on ‘Create User for API Access’
  2. Copy the ‘User Code’ and ‘Authorization Basic’ details and email this to Vetstoria.

  3. Click the tab ‘API Configuration’ and note down the “Alias” and include it in your email to Vetstoria.RxWorks Ext API 2
  4. Your “Public IP address” (this can be found by simply typing “What is my IP” in your web browser)

The next step in this process is to configure your router for port forwarding. The information which you will need to send to your router technician can be accessed as a PDF document using the link below. You can forward this information to your technician.

Access your router configuration details here.
