This article will walk you through New Postcode Options & Populating the entered 'Postcode' for new client files


Postcode Format Options


Postcode format options for the United States of America and Canada are now available to select from when the ‘Post Code’ toggle is enabled for clinics. The following options are included under the new ‘Validate Post’ drop-down:

  1. None (the default option)

  2. Canada (e.g. , “A1A 1 A1”)

  3. US-5 digits (e.g., “11111”)

Hint text, front-end and back-end validation for the ‘Post Code’ field on the booking tool is introduced based on the selected options above to guide pet owners in entering the correct post code format.

Front-end validation message (prompts when the entered postcode/zip code is invalid)

Populate the entered ‘Zip code or Postal Code’ in the client files of new clients

Once the ‘Post Code’ toggle is enabled, and the required Post Code formatting option is selected from the drop-down,  For all new client bookings in Impromed, the ‘Zip/Postal Code’ field will be populated with the entered postcode value.
