How do I configure the options for Slot Availability?

This article will help you understand and set the different options for Slot Availability located in Advanced Settings > Slot Availability.

Access the Advanced Settings


Login to your Vetstoria Dashboard, and navigate to the Slot Availability tab by clicking on Settings > Advanced Settings > Slot Availability.


Duration to the Furthest Available Slot

Sets the future availability of appointments that can be booked. In this example, a client would not be able to book an appointment any further than 1 month from now. We would recommend setting this at 3 months. 

Available Options : 

  • 2 Weeks
  • 1 Month
  • 2 Months
  • 3 Months
  • 6 Months


Cancellation / Amendment Notice Period

Sets the period of time that you wish to allow prior to an an existing appointment to allow that appointment to be cancelled. In this example, if your appointment was at 2pm, you would have to cancel it before 11am. After 11am, the appointment cannot be cancelled and the customer will be directed to call the clinic.

  • 30 Minutes
  • 1 Hour
  • 2 Hours
  • 3 Hours
  • 6 Hours
  • 9 Hours
  • 12 Hours
  • 18 Hours
  • 24 Hours
  • 36 Hours
  • 48 Hours


Weekend Slots

Use the toggle switches to enable days of the weekend which are available for booking via the booking tool.
