Setting up digital marketing campaigns using ezyVet

This article will walk you through how to set up your digital marketing campaigns created using Vetstoria in tandem with using ezyVet. Before diving in, it's essential to lay the groundwork for campaign setup. 


What is Vetstoria digital marketing?


The digital marketing feature allows you to create custom made booking links. Think of it more as campaign Manager that gives you highly controllable specific booking links that can be used and restricted based on your rules. Once created, these campaigns can serve as clickable links on your social media ads or any other campaign based marketing activities.

How to set up the campaign using Vetstoria and ezyVet


Please follow the step by step process in order to understand how to ensure, that a digital marketing campaign is mapped correctly with ezyVet.


Step 1


You will first need to create a new appointment type on ezyVet, making sure it aligns with the name you intend on giving your digital marketing campaign. For example - "Digital marketing campaign."


Adding a new appointment on ezyVet


1.  First, you will need to click on Admin.



2. In the left-hand side dropdown, select Settings.



3. Then select Appointment Types.



4. Once you click on Appointment Types, a new Appointment Type screen will load.



5. Enter the digital marketing campaign name you wish to use and click on save.



6. Make sure to turn on and allocate the following:


Turn on: 

  1. Needs a client
  2. Needs an animal


Allocate: 


The 'Reminder/ Communication Group'


Turn on: 


Needs a clinical record


Allocate: 


Allocate the 'Default Clinical Layout'



Step 2


You can now go ahead and create your digital marketing campaign on Vetstoria. For guidance on how you can create your digital marketing campaign, consult this informative article - How do I create a digital marketing link? 


Ensure consistency in naming conventions for your marketing campaign; for instance, if you designated "Digital marketing campaign" when creating the appointment type in ezyVet, employing the same naming convention for your Vetstoria digital marketing campaign will facilitate easy tracking.


Step 3


This part is the most important part, once you have completed creating your digital marketing campaign. You will need to reach out to our Vetstoria support team ( vetstoria@support.com) and provide us with the digital marketing campaign name you created.


NOTE: When sending us the name of the campaign name you used when creating the digital marketing campaign, please ensure to send the precise wording, maintaining accurate capitalized or lower case letters accordingly. 


Step 4


To apply your digital marketing campaign offer to one of your appointment types on Vetstoria. All you need to do is:


1.  Click on retrieve calendars so that your ezyVet appoint type appears under the PIMS section on your Vetstoria platform.  



2. You can then click on + Add New Type


3.  Select the appointment type you created on ezyVet

 


4. Name the appointment and click on save changes.



You're all set!


Once a pet owner lands on your booking page they will be able to select the appointment type associated to the digital marketing campaign you created and complete the booking process.




NOTE: Only one type of digital marketing campaign can run during a specified period, you will not be able to run individual digital marketing campaigns simultaneously.
